These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mylandlordly ("the Service"), operated by MakeMaryland LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
mylandlordly is a web-based property management platform designed for individual landlords, property investors, and property managers. The Service allows you to manage rental properties, track maintenance requests, store documents, communicate with tenants, and manage vendor relationships.
To use the Service you must create an account. You agree to:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement.
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, your account will become read-only unless you subscribe. We will send reminder emails at days 25, 28, and 30 of your trial.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is available at mylandlordly.com. We offer monthly and annual billing options.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payment is processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
We may change our subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Price changes will be communicated by email and posted on our pricing page. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a prorated basis within 30 days of purchase. Contact [email protected] to request a refund.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time on monthly plans.
Upon cancellation or expiry without renewal:
If your account is cancelled, any users you have invited (property managers, tenants, or property owners) will be notified by email and given 7 days to subscribe independently to retain access to their associated data.
You retain full ownership of all data you upload or create in the Service, including property information, lease documents, maintenance records, and tenant information.
By using the Service you grant MakeMaryland LLC a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), bcrypt password hashing, and access controls. However no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request an export of your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will provide your data in a standard format within 14 business days.

When you invite tenants, property managers, or other collaborators to the Service, you are responsible for:
The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding your data), is owned by MakeMaryland LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
mylandlordly is a property management tool and does not provide legal, financial, or real estate advice. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeMaryland LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MakeMaryland LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maryland.
